street numbers are determined by an alphanumeric character to represent the block, then the number of the building on the block.
ex. 3942 centre st. would be am42 centre st., assuming it is the 42nd building on that block, 101 would be b1 and so on.
01-99 is a typical block which would be represented by a
100-199 would be represented by b
after the 26th block, or however many characters are available in the common alphabet of the area, it will be aa, ab, ac, etc.
apartment numbers within a given building can be determined by the building owner/manager and can be anything. am42-flower
